(As always, I wrote this poem in English and in French so make sure you have selected the correct language in the menu. Avoid using your browser's automatic translation tool as much as possible, unless of course you do not speak either English or French. And if you speak both languages, as the two versions are slightly different, feel free to read both. Thank you)

Sometimes I find myself feeling emotions that don't seem to belong to me.

As if someone else, somewhere, was experiencing them and they were just passing through me. So I imagine that maybe, they belong to someone I am connected to and that, no matter what I do, I will feel them.

That is why I wrote A Symphony of Hearts:

Is it because of the rain that is falling today?

Is it because of time that seems to run away?

Crazy heart of mine, why do you feel this way?

En empty space, and a million shades of grey.

Outside the rain sounds like a dark melody,

So many drops, so many tears and slowly, I'm drowning.

All these emotions in my heart feel so heavy,

Frustrating, confusing, heartbreaking.

I look at the sky who lost its blue,

and whisper "I get you, I lost mine too,

Yet we both know, our colours are true.

So don't be afraid, for if you cry, I will cry with you."

I can't fight these feelings inside of me,

And even if I know they don't belong to me,

If you are not happy, how could I be ?

We are just two souls, who will forever sing in harmony.

"My beautiful blue sky, please dry your tears now,

You're not along anymore, and neither am I."

The rain suddenly stopped and as the clouds faded,

A dragonfly landed on me and said softly:

"It is time for both of you to write a new story,

Full of love, happiness, and beauty".

So I wrote these words to tell you that everything will be alright,

I am here now, unravelling the threads of destiny.

No matter the distance, no matter the time,

No matter our fears and all our doubts,

One day I will find your heart,

And write a symphony, with mine.

Written with love, always
