Let me tell you everything

You already know my name is Joanna.

In everyday life, I am not the kind of artist you can find in museums or exhibitions.

If you are looking for me, you are more likely to find me in the middle of a forest, by an ocean, a lake or at the top of a mountain.

I have always been fascinated by the beauty of the world around us, by its landscapes, its colours, by nature, flowers, animals, people...

As a globetrotter at heart, I love to travel, to walk around and to seek out incredible places, but also the little details that no one notices because our current life goes by far too quickly for us to linger on them.

So I take my time. I do not run. I walk. I take my time to explore and feel life. I wrote about this in my poem called Walk with Me.

From my walks, I always return with dozens of photos of everything I simply find beautiful. In my wildest dreams, everything I paint would be photographed by me. Including the portraits I create. I would choose the pose, the emotion, the expression that I want to highlight myself.

And these photos become drawings, paintings. I love the idea that art makes an instant, a person, a flower eternal, knowing that, in a little while, the thing or person that I took a picture of will no longer be the same. As if to freeze a relative beauty in time. I have even written about this in my poem entitled True Beauty.
