We all have the ability to transform, to change, to become “someone else”, or rather, who we truly are.
The phoenix is the symbol of life that dies in order to be reborn. To destroy, so that we can rebuild anew.
This is the story I wanted to tell through this painting. It evokes rebirth through the phoenix, life returning through the birds in the tree and the blooming branches, and the forces of the earth (the tree) and the sky (the moon) coming together to allow the phoenix to rise once more.
